ABOUT INTERNATIONAL PROFESSIONAL MANAGERS ASSOCIATION (IPMA), UNITED KIGNDOM

The International Professional Managers Association (IPMA) is an International Examining, Licensing and Regulatory Professional body formed for the purpose of providing practicing managers with the opportunity to participate and to be part of the process of improving managerial performance and effectiveness in all areas of business, industry, and public administration.

Managers of today work in an era of constant change. Increasing competitive pressures, rapid developments in Information Technology, Telecommunications, and a more demanding society, altogether pose challenges crying out for effective solutions. Organizations today therefore need to have skilled Managers who can address these demanding challenges and have the ability to develop and implement the most effective business strategies to solve these problems.

All members of our Association are expected to comply with our Code of Code. This Code of Conduct seeks to ensure that all our Fellows, Members, Associates, and Licentiates acknowledge their responsibilities as Professional Managers.

Professional management demands that individual managers exercises their responsibilities with integrity, competence and objectivity when working or dealing with the public, their employers, clients and others.

Our Code of Conduct represents a relevant and useful set of guidelines to ensure that our licensed Professional Managers contribute and play a vital and ethical role in the context of their work and business relationships.

We are pleased to be working with various organizations who share our objective for the development of managerial expertise, strategic and management leadership skills. All our affiliates are fully accredited and provide a high level of service and commitment in achieving our mutual objectives.

They offer a variety of programmes that are relevant to their environment and all fully assessed and certificated by us in the UK.

JOURNAL

The International Professional Managers Review has been created to provide academics and practitioners a platform and a Journal for their exploration of new ideas, concepts, techniques and practice.

Our members have access to the Journal but members of the public can view abstracts and we believe that you will find articles of interest and we welcome your subscription for access.

Our Membership Qualifying Examination scheme requires students to complete 6 (six) levels of examinations and assessments. The mandatory qualifying stages are:

  • Foundation
  • Intermediate
  • Professional Part 1
  • Professional Part 2
